Go

The Mission Chattanooga is a fellowship of missionaries.  As his family, God commissions us to be a people who “GO” with Him on mission. In many ways it is our other commitments of Belonging, Growing, and Serving, that prepare us to go out and be God’s ambassadors in the world. Our staff and lay leadership is dedicated to supporting and equipping our fellowship to live out this purpose. We seek to reveal God’s kingdom by stewarding His goodness, truth and beauty in our neighborhood, our city and the world.

We serve a God of mercy, and as his people we are called to love and care for those around us. Our love for one another and for the stranger is the hallmark of what it means to follow Christ, and we want to empower and equip our church community to follow Christ into the world in such a way that reveals the love that has redeemed us.

Katrina Payne is our Pastor of Mercy Ministries and has a passion for loving people and engaging with the most vulnerable people in our community. She helps to educate our people on the needs of the community and create opportunities for us to care for our neighbors. Our Missions Committee assists in this work by identifying, supporting, praying for, and making decisions on partnerships across the city and the world.

We also maintain several partnerships in Chattanooga, empowering people and organizations who have the express purpose and ability to engage our neighbors in need:
