Mission Youth
Mission Youth is a community for middle and high school students to foster spiritual formation and friendships while on a journey toward Christ.
Join us for Youth Group!
Middle School: Wednesdays 6-8 PM | High School: Sundays 6-8 PM
Our programming for middle and school school includes a meal, games and activities, worship, bible lessons, and a time for conversation in Life Groups, led by a team of adult volunteers. Life Groups are segmented by grade and gender. We use a combination of resources such as Grow Curriculum, Student Life, Richard Foster’s Celebration of Discipline, and To Be A Christian: An Anglican Catechism. Each week, parents are sent an email with Faith @ Home: a way to continue the conversation beyond Youth Group.
What’s it like?
Middle School: Our focus is to establish belonging through Christ-centered friendships and shared moments of connection. We do this by helping students understand the foundational elements of the gospel and to help them make connections with the overarching story of God through scripture.
High School: Building on the foundational truth at the center of our middle school gatherings, we desire to continue the conversation as we ask honest questions about the impact of Jesus in our lives. We do this by giving access to spiritual disciplines and practices that help our students spend time with God and be transformed through intimacy with Jesus.
We regularly gather for additional events each year, such as worship and prayer nights, service projects, high school fall retreat, middle school spring retreat, and Student Life summer camp.
Volunteer with Mission Youth
Our desire is to foster growth in personal relationship with Jesus for our youth. We believe the best way to do this is through direct discipleship. We have a team of volunteer adults each year who are dedicated to serving our youth and families through youth group, events, or mentorship.
